There was a bittersweet joke being made at the “This Is It” premiere in L.A. last night: “Everyone is here except for Michael Jackson.” The red carpet did look pretty crammed (mostly with really young B- and C-listers, which was sort of strange—did their publicists, like, see this as a prime opportunity to see and be seen? Tacky). Anyhoo, if we’re all being gauche here, click through to gawk at what famous people of all tiers wore to such an event. (Hint: Lots of black.)
J.Lo wisely avoided showing too much skin and accessorized with some bling and seriously kick ass boots.

I really like Paula’s dress, and the color of the heels are great!
Everyone else is just blah…

In reference to the Daisy Fuentes commentary: If you’re going to shorten the word “paper”, might I suggest spelling the abbreviation “pape” instead of “pap”? Pap makes me think of a gyno visit, so the term “pap shot” was, umm, unsettling.

@lea322—I believe that ‘pap’ was used in reference to the paparazzi—as in for photo exposure, rather than ‘paper.’
You’re right though—pap shot can sound unsettling! lol

@conspicuous: haha Thanks for clarifying! Maybe this is further proof that slang abbreviations should be kept to a minimum.

Plus, “pap” by itself is not pronounced the same was as the first syllable of “paparazzi”...so maybe an alternative spelling is in order?
