So, you know what you should do this weekend? See “Rachel At The Wedding”? Yes! Eat copious amounts of junk food? Yes! But you should also do something productive with your time, like fill out Maxim‘s LADIES ONLY sex survey. They’ve asked us to hook them up with the intelligent, sassy, snarky pool of ladies that read this blog in hopes that you’ll provide their readers with the information they’re desperate to know about the mysterious female psyche.
Now, I’ve already taken the survey and can attest to how easy and entertaining it is to answer. The questions range from “What old-fashioned chivalrous things do you still expect a guy to do?” (umm, not dump me without a warning?) to “What is an absolute deal-breaker in a relationship?” (dumping me without warning!), as well as a few that go way, way below the belt. So hook those lads up—the more guys understand about women, the better off we’ll all be. [Maxim’s Biggest, Hardest Sex Survey Ever!]

OK, I’ve read the survey and I thought I’d ask, since you already took it. What do you think they mean by “lesbian experience?” Would making out be enough (I’ve done that twice, once it was pretty hot!), or do they mean some sort of vaginal contact. My god, I don’t think I could go that far…

@Allison I wondered the exact same thing, to be honest. So then I answered based on whether *I* considered the experience to be a lesbian one, and answered yes. For the record, it was kissing. But you may have kissed a girl and not considered it a lesbian experience so you could put no. I mean, I think the survey is somewhat open to interpretation.

Thanks, Amelia! I think your right about interpretation. I’m going to put one. My first kiss was with a random girl on new years in Vegas, 2000. We were waiting in line for cabs and these guys offered us a ride in their limo if we made out. After three hours of standing around, it was totally a great deal, but nothing lesbian about it on my end (though she was cute).
The second time was when I was doing the lighting cues in the booth for a play in college. The couple on stage had the lamest kiss (it was a Neil Simon play, but there’s still no excuse). The stage manager and I were ripping on them and I said we could kiss better than that, and she offered to try. It was so hot. That one I’ll put down on the survey. I’m proud to say I didn’t miss any light cues.

i had trouble with the “if you’re in a relationship...” question ... i’m not currently in a relationship, but it demanded me answer it anyways, without given the option of saying i’m not in a relationship.
the results of this survey should thus not be taken very seriously.

This survey could have been so much better. The fact that it needed me to answer the “If your in a relationship” question, when I’m not. The lack of open ended questions, especially about penis size. I mean, 4-6? Do they understand, or want to even admit, that most men say they are 7 inches when they are really 4. I hated having to answer 7-9, when 6-8 is perfectly fine for me, as long as it’s hard and the guy has skills.
The old fashioned Chivalrous question was very disappointing as none of those answers were applicable to me. Hell, I think it’s chivalrous if a man doesn’t spit a huge wad or scratch his balls in front of me.
I didn’t like that “Disrespect” was not included in the multiple choice for the unforgiveable (don’t forgive) question. If the guy respected you, he wouldn’t be lying or cheating.
Did anyone else notice no direct/specific questions about foreplay?
What can I say, I used to work in market research (surveys in particular) so I’m picky when it comes to this. This is surely not a scientific survey and the answers should be taken with a grain of salt.
