Maybe this is naive of me, but I had no idea that men felt so passionately about masturbation—dudes responded in droves to our list of songs about self-love, and a little bitterly, I might add. So obviously, this got my frisky mind working and it seemed like the perfect opportunity to talk to the guys on our IM about their own masturbation habits. We have a couple newbies joining us (including one who didn’t even want an alias), and two of our regulars wanted to be completely anonymous. Masturbation is like any other daily activity for men. I never really understood why, but if it gives me the opportunity to have a night or two off a week then I’m all for it.

I’d have to disagree with the commenter above me - I always hear about girls wanting “a night off,” but I definitely don’t fall into that category. When I have a boyfriend, I’d much rather be participating than getting a night off because he’s doing it himself. Of course, I have no problem with him doing it when I’m not around or anything like that!

i agree with anika. i don’t consider getting a ‘night off’ a good thing for myself! i don’t see it as a chore or something i ‘have to do’...it’s something i want and look forward to each and every day.

I would never take a night off from sex. My bf is older than me and I take as much as I can. lol.

Personally, I don’t want to know when the dirty deed is going down--my guy knows he should take care of business when I’m at the office, out of town, or otherwise occupied and out of the house--but as long as I don’t have to see it, I couldn’t care less if it’s going on.
And while I don’t necessarily look at it as an either/or (either he diddles, or we do it), I’m with Elle on this one. After years of dating and cohabitating, we just don’t get it on every night, no matter who does what in their spare time… And I am more than fine with that. To those of you couples that do, keep up the good work!
