I’ve never been much for the kind of lingerie that falls outside the bra and panties spectrum. I’ve never worn a corset, didn’t know what a merrywidow was until yesterday, and really just don’t understand garter belts. But then I started hanging out with someone who has a thing for thigh highs—the kind that don’t require garters. Now, I’m pretty down with trying new things, especially if it excites the person I’m with, so I looked into this whole thigh-high socking racket and realized they are effing sexy. Like, I kind of want to prance around my apartment in them for fun. And for him, too, if he’s lucky.

I’m wearing solid black ones with lace at the top right now…they’re the first ones I’ve gotten and I love them! Full on tights aren’t that comfortable in my opinion, but these are great. I’ll def look into buying more like this in the future.

@lilo Re 1: many thigh-highs have a silicone on the inside, so those stay up on there own. Most of the time the packaging will say whether it stays up.

I’ve been wearing thigh highs for years instead of the conventional stocking. They are extremely comfortable, the only time I’ve ever had them “fall” was when they got “old” as the silicone inside loses it’s traction. Yes, they are incredibly sexy but they are functional as well and perfect for every day use, business and most especially pleasure!

Nope, these are all the types called “hold ups” which grab nicely to the thigh so they don’t slip down

My favorite thigh highs the Falke Lunelle Peacock Ones posted above as well as the Victoria’s Secret satin topped thigh highs.
Lots of times, the silicone band on thigh high stockings tends to dig into the thigh…for both of the pairs I mentioned, the stockings are comfortable enough for all day wear.
