The Toilet Tantrums Of Tinseltown
No one exactly likes it when someone walks in on them using the loo. But over the weekend, Courtney Love allegedly went nutso on a guy who accidentally opened her unlocked bathroom stall to find her on the pot with her skirt at her ankles. According to the intruder, Courtney launched herself at him. “She stormed out screaming, ‘I am going to get you thrown out!’ She jumped on me, went crazy and dragged me over to security by the arm and claimed that I’d attacked her. They were trying to calm her down, but she was like a possessed woman.”
Courtney’s not the only celebrity with bad bathroom behavior. It seems that stars are just as weird in the bathroom as they are out of it… [NY Post]
- Mischa Barton had some words with a bathroom attendant at a London nightclub in July. First, Mischa tried to bring her bestie into the toilet stall with her, but the attendant kicked Mischa out and then knocked on her stall door when she was taking too long. A witness said, “Then her mate was knocking to check she was feeling okay. When she came out of the cubicle she was complaining about people knocking on the door. She looked slightly worse for the wear as she attempted to apply her make-up.” [NY Daily News] — I’m sure she was just prepping for her “Beautiful Life” role.
- When Paris Hilton was in Cannes this spring, she allegedly got kicked off of a private yacht party for trying to schtupp Doug Reinhardt in the bathroom. She was invited by Elton John’s hubby, David Furnish, who also booted the couple. Paris denied the story on her MySpace page saying, “I would never do that. I can’t believe the stories people will make up, so gross! It’s not fair that writers can get away it. They have no credibility.” [Celebitchy]
- In 2006, Lindsay Lohan pissed off queen of fashion Anna Wintour during the Council of Fashion Designers of America Awards because she was disappearing to the loo too much. Lohan came with Karl Lagerfeld and went to “powder her nose” six times in two hours. Apparently, Wintour told a Vogue staffer, “Tell her if she gets up one more time, she will never be invited to one of my events again.” [Moono] — I totally never realized that “powder your nose” is a double entendre!
- Madonna has a very particular toilet request for her tours—apparently, she won’t sit on a used seat and requires venues to provide a brand new seat when she arrives. A source confirmed, “It must be wrapped in plastic so her people can open it, and then she demands it be disposed of immediately after she leaves the venue so no one can sell it on eBay.” Madonna’s publicist Liz Rosenberg was helpful in responding to Madonna’s needs. “I don’t know if anyone helps her wipe but there are probably people who would volunteer,” she said [Heckler Spray] — In this story, I’m much more concerned with who would buy Madonna’s used toilet seat than the fact that there are probably hundreds of them sitting in a landfill somewhere. She should donate them to charity so they can build a house of toilet seats for some needy family!

Courtney’s always had a potty mouth, no surprises there. It’s the skirt-around-the-ankles visual that’s assaulting my brain. Please warn me next time. ::shudder::

This story is fake. First of all, if Sebastian Karnaby walked through the front door of a party room, it’s highly unlikey he couldn’t find his way out, or at the very least, recognize the door he came through. The space isn’t that big.
It sounds like this story was fabricated by a man because most women pull their skirt up, not down, when they pee.
It’s HIGHLY unlikely the Boom Boom Room at the Standard Hotel has a single occupancy bathroom.
This article is obviously retaliation for her being noisy at a fashion show the night before. That’s the only reason they ran it a week after it supposedly happened.
Every publication that chooses to run this story looks ridiculous for spreading the NYP’s gossip. On the plus side, this guy’s name will forever be associated with a toilet on the Internet.

Seriously though, I would be pretty pissed if someone opened my bathroom stall too. Although, Courtney’s reaction is a bit much. I can’t help wondering though how a guy walked in on her in a stall—was it a co-ed bathroom or something? Or was he or she in the wrong bathroom?
