The Sartoralist Publishing A Book

The Sartorialist, a.k.a. Scott Schuman, is one of my favorite photographer bloggers, with his candid, beautiful shots of cool fashionistas and slick stylists, who he finds on streets around the world. Now, Fashionista is reporting a rumor that Sart, whose own image appeared in a recent GAP campaign, has scored a book deal, possibly with Harper Collins, for a coffee table book of his iconic images. After the jump, my top ten favorite Sartorialist photos so far in 2008.

(Depending on your browser, you may have to scroll down after clicking to see the photo.)

1. Little Star, Paris.

2. Badonkadonk in Red.

3. Head-to-Knee American Apparel.

4. Space Age, Milan.

5. Girl in Orange.

6. Urban Camouflage, NYC.

7. Bright Bright Color.

8. On the Runway.

9. The Crossdresser.

10. Vogue France Editor-in-Chief Carine Roitfeld.

I love The Sartorialist. I can only dream of looking as stylish as the people in his photos. But the woman in the red dress is rather lacking in the posterior to be described as “Badonkadonk in Red”

Jesus, I’d kill for the body of the woman in red (but would not, it seems, give up sweets, french fries or booze…).
