“The Real Housewives Of Atlanta” Recap: “I’m The Director”

NeNe Leakes shouted “I’m the director” all over Buckhead as she prepared “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” for the alter-ego photo shoot by photographer Derek Banks. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves. The episode opened with the social director of the crew (NeNe) inviting Kandi and Sheree for Minx Nails manicures. They really over-shared about their pubic hair while getting primped. Kandi got rid of hers with electrolysis. And Sheree is completely bald, and I don’t know why. Brazilians? Alopecia? Who knows.
Back to the photo shoot ... NeNe seems to have done well with her task. Surprisingly, she wasn’t too bossy and gave constructive feedback. But we won’t know for sure until next week when she has her reveal party. Shame on the producers for stretching this photo shoot storyline over three episodes. Derek must have cost a pretty penny. Anyhoo, NeNe wanted to transform Kim into a black woman, which Kim wasn’t going for. I can understand Kim not wanting to do it. Most people aren’t jumping at the chance to wear blackface nowadays. But Kim’s alter-ego personas—a mistress and a housewife—weren’t huge departures from what she really is. NeNe did, however, convince Sheree to “rob” herself for seven figures in her photo. Bwahaha! What do you know, Sheree can laugh at herself.
Kandi decided her pic would highlight the horror of drunk driving because her and A.J.‘s family members were struck by a drunk driver, and his nephew is still in critical condition. NeNe personified a church lady and a stripper. The funniest part of the episode was when Greg, NeNe’s husband, said: “I have to go to the bank so I can make it rain.” Isn’t he like 60?

I DIED when NeNe told Sheree she wanted to dress her up in a prison outfit and have her robbing an ATM for 7 figures. It was tooo good. But I was surprised that NeNe did a good job and that everyone was into it, besides Kim. And yes Gregg is like 60 and it was definitely an overshare when he told us that NeNe strips for him every night and he strips for her.

What is NeNe’s deal i do not like the way she is acting at all this season. i liked her better the first season. since she or he has been hanging around lisa she seems really fake. Lisa is a little mess maker and am glad nancey called her out about it at her party. While NeNe turning on Kim she need to be doing Lisa the same way. and if NeNe would have fell like kim did it would have been a earth quake because NeNe is a big girl man whatever the hell it or she is.and Lisa would look just like a little boy if her hair was not long, cause her shape ain’t hittin on #&@$%.Now Sheree can stop working out now because she lookin just like a man in the face.

As a fellow photographer, I thought Derek’s photographs were great but I was amazed that all the tables in his studios were cheap, tacky, folding card tables!
Golly, Derek take a quick trip to Ikea and get some nice work tables for you and your crew. Surely you can now afford it. LOL!!
