Hate to disappoint you, but Number one - Kim is NOT Quincy’s type!!! but, more importantly Kim’s “Big Poppa” has already been revealed. It is Lee Najjar. He is remaining a mystery because he is technically still married and doesnt want to further humiliate his wife. You will usually find pictures with him and other music celebrities in the R&B;genre. I live in the same area as these women and it IS a bunch of housewives!! But they are just pretending when it comes to any “celebrity”. Maybe they will have it now, but HOW EMBARRASSING!!

Hello, writing from Baltimore.  I’am a fan of the housewives episodes, I really loved the housewives of Orange county, so when i heard the housewives of Atlanta was coming on i could’nt wait, because that is where i want to move to, but i can’t watch it any longer.  The stress, the drama.  It is like watching a train reck.  NeNe is loud and say what ever comes to her mind without thinking, Kim is a back stabbing person that is evidently not trust worthy, one day she is NENE friend the next she is talking about her, Lisa is a follower, following Sheree and only inviting Sheree to her functions, Sheree really thinks she is the show- nuf shisnick and DeShawn needs to have more control of her family(Kids) before she can take care of others.  Well good by and good luck.

Many people can afford more expensive of anything in Atlanta It is one of the Cheapest places to live.  Every house looks the same.  There a bunch of leftover fake housewives from a cheap low cost of living area.  LOL There no New York and Orange County,  they are the cheap version of rich trailor trash Expecially ugly faced Kim! I really get a kick out of watching this show. There is no way Kim is 29. What 29 year old needs,or even wants, Botox? I love how Kim and Sheree sit around stroking each other’s egos talking about how people hate on them because of their talent and beauty. Those two are the biggest haters on the show. Ashley, you really hit the nail on the head!!  I thought I was the only one that caught the K-A-T thing!  She is nothing but plastic, shallow, and air-headed.  There’s no way she’s 29, and she has the smoker’s voice of a 49 year old!!  She needs to stop whining about her daughter not appreciating her bday party, when it seemed like Kim was only doing it to fill some void in herself.

Well, I love the show. All these women play a special part as far as character,like NeNe and Sheree. To me these are everyday women who in actually are going through the same issues as off screen women. Though I must admit, Kim takes the cake trying to immulate what has and always will be beautiful and powerful..the African American Woman.

I think that Lisa and Ed are sooooooo cute!!! I’m sure the two of them have a personal chef, but Ed still took the time to “whip up” his honey some homemade chicken soup when she was sick in bed. Then he cuddles up next to her just to keep her company. where can I find me some of that??? Sheree, on the other hand, ain’t so sweet! Did anyone catch the show where she was showing Kim the photo album from her birthday extravaganza? Of course she put the picture in of Nene getting stopped @ the door because her name was “accidently” left off the list. Why would she want to put that in her album? This is the person name Candy. 1st off the show is not a train reck, nor is it streeful. You going to have drama nomatter what, that’s life. If you as me I think you have not been watching the same show. I agree with you on Sharee, Lisa & Kim, but as for NeNe she is the REALIEST one on the show…her & her husband they compliment each other. As for DeShawn she is a member of my church here in Georgia and she has wonderful control of her kids. You have to understand what you see on t.v. is chopped and edited. If anyone has been listening to Kim on the show she said that her Big Poppa is a well known man in the music business and now she is in the studio w/ Dallas Austin who do you think that is? (Quincy Jones) Another thing is when she went into Dallas Studios and they was showing the different music plaques on the wall on of the pictures was blurred out, why do you think that is? Because Big Poppa is Quincy Jones. You have to pay attention to detail and listen to what people say.

Imagine for a moment that Kim is African American and the following sentence read like this…with only the last few words changed….

I agree with mrs. Emma. I too believe that Clive Davis is Big Poppa. And I think all the women are beautiful,but just like everyone they have their flaws. let’s start with NeNe, i think she has a painful past that sometimes make her say some hurtful things,she’s real but their is a time to be silent,kim is not exactly the friend she needs because she’s not willing to stick by her even when she’s not being very nice,talk to her firt b4 u just write her off Kim!She’s ok but too superficial,like her new friend Shree, u are nice,but u are not all that! one ought not think to highly of themself. Big Poppa is in fact Lee Najjar.  It is not Clive Owen or Quincy Jones.  Kim is working with Dallas because Dallas is friends more so with Lee’s son Jared and Lee himself. Lee is in fact married still with 4 children.  He did live in the same area as Kim up until a year ago when he moved to Buckhead.

I don’t usually blog, but after reading the comments, I could not help myself. I just spent the past 4 hours watching this show (4 episodes back to back). It was interesting and funny at first. It did what it was supposed to do, provide a guilty pleasure. But as the episodes went on, I realized how pathetic and sad these women really are. Give me a break, what is this? Third grade? It was sickening to see how grown women can be so petty and infantile. I guess this is what people call drama, but it seems like a bunch of foolishness. The best (funniest) part of it all is Kim. It’s sad (and halarious) that no one close to her will level with her and say ” you can’t sing!”. It’s so pathetic, but I will keep watching for laughs.

CL - Thanks for the blogging lesson. I couldn’t agree more. I read a blog and was excited about what I read and wanted to react to it. What “excites” me is women, white, black, green, purple, or whatever, who feel compelled to use words and phrases they do not understand to impress one another. Sheree is another perfect example ...using “whereas” and “such as” all the time. She just sounds silly, I wonder if she ever listens to herself. Whether blogging or not, incorrect grammar and usage just tells me that a person does not have enough self respect to educate themself before putting their thoughts out there. Typos happen, I agree, no big deal. But “immulate” is not a typo, it’s an adult hearing a word and not caring enough to truly learn the word before they attempt to use it. If you want to speak in a public forum, speak intelligently. I don’t care if it’s a blog or not. But go ahead and feel free to “shut down” those of us with an opinion. (Oh, and PS, I’d bet money that you checked and double checked your post to be sure it was error free before you put it out there! HA!)

Some of you women are pathetic. Especially the woman saying Atlanta is cheap, and they are rich trailor trash…the south is cheap, well cheaper than the North. The cost of living is cheaper but their salaries are less than they would be in another state. If Lisa was a real estate broker in Jersey, she might make three times what she makes now. But her home would cost her three times as much. Learn something about economics before you call anyone trash. AND FOR THOSE OF YOU DISSIN’ KIM…think about this. Someone you know, a relative, a friend, has had a one night stand, or has had sex with someone who was in a relationship with someone else, and what did they get? An STD,an unwanted pregnancy…Kim and her ugly ass wig has gotten a home, cars, jewelry, probably worth more than everything you own, and she is the slut? Its always insecure women who blame the mistress instead of blaming the person who made the commitment. She judges Kim for messing with a married man and I am sure she has a vivid past. Nene is hood as hell. And hood does not mean she is “keeping it real”. She canwear the clothes, the jewels, the makeup, and she still looks like she came straight from 3rd ward, New Orleans. Lisa is fake. As soon as she left that dinner when Nene sang her song, Lisa ran and told Kim. Then Lisa went and confessed to Nene to cover her tracks. Then when kim said something about it, Lisa got so defensive. Coward! I love Sheree. Even if I didn’t spell her name right. The other one is just bougie and boring. I just wish that When they did real housewives of New Jersey, that they included the many, many classy black women in North Jersey that are millionaires instead of making new jersey housewives look like a bad mix between the golden girls and the sopranos. Not all black women are loud mouthed drama queens and I can’t be the only one to see how bravo is stereotyping certain parts of the country.

The ladies on the real housewives obviously don’t care that she’s white. It sounds like the majority of people on this site who are trashing Kim are doing it because of her skin color. Grow up, we are living in a modern world, where we should be able to leave all of the superficial judgments behind. MissC2U, I agree with you about the show - all real women who are representations of what everyday off screen gals go through, but I don’t think Kim is trying to “emulate” being black. She knows she’s a white woman, she is just giving respect to the wonderful african american qualities of her friends. If she tries to specifically copy any one trait that is trade marked as “african american” only, then you should take it as a compliment… but honey I doubt there are any because we are all just human, not to be judged on color of our skin.
