The Mankini: Hot or Not?

Men have many options when it comes to showing some skin this summer: board shorts, classic speedos, spandex hot pants, banana hammocks, and now the mankini. While Borat and John Mayer have made the mankini a laughing stock in lime green, at the recent Alexander McQueen menswear show in Milan, the tan and black is so cutting edge it looks like the future, like something one of the guys on Star Trek would wear. Maybe not Captain Jean-Luc Piccard, he’s totally a sporty shorty kinda guy. However, a guy like Geordi LaForge would definitely make the mankini swoon. But is this look realistically rockable for the modern mman? [Wake Up America]

If this was an outfit for a go-go-boy at a gay bar and they switched the colors around, sure. Otherwise, I don’t want to see any man wearing this EVER!

I love wearing a speedo but flesh colored panties and a collar is a little too much for me.
I also do not like the below the knee board shorts. They look so impractical.
Let’s have we men show a little more leg next year. Either tight or loose fitting square legged swimsuits will work. Show a little thigh. Be daring or be square. The square legged cut is not too revealing.

I like E.T. is ‘out there’. We should have had a side-by-side, with a woman having everything covered that he doesn’t and a skimpy lower area. Jim Carrey and his ‘fig leaf’ was funny! This is definitely either for a ‘slave’ (as one said) or someone whose gal is playing a joke. I wear a “Speedo” and feel good about myself. Some giggle or laugh, but I also get whistles.
