The Look Of Completely Nonsensical Love

Billy Corgan And Jessica Simpson Photos

Despite what Us Weekly says, Jessica Simpson and aging rocker Billy Corgan seem to be hanging out still. This photo—plus one more, after the jump—were posted on Twitter and show the pop singer staring rather adoringly at her baldy beau. This makes about as much sense to me as ice in a glass of wine, i.e., NO sense whatsoever. [Star Magazine]

Those pics are really sweet! and also, my roommate always puts ice in her wine…even RED, which she keeps in the FRIDGE believe it or not. I hate it.

She could just be enthralled by his talent. Just sayin.

You know, if they’re both happy, isn’t that what’s important?

Jessica may not be the brightest person be she comes across as very sweet. You don’t hear her dishing on her ex’s. That said, I don’t see this relationship working out. She appears to be the epitome of what B Corgan would not want in a women. She is a blonde, not to bright, somewhat naive, religious conservative.

lost all interest in simpson, I deleted all her music, didn’t like her anymore after she broke up with Lachey. I think he is more talented, I prefer his music. I used to like her but she became too snotty and uppity especially with the newlyweds shows, disgusts me how much she spends on clothes and her sense of self entitlement.

I’m not saying it as something bad. I just meant I look at my guy friends like that when they play guitar.

Yeah, I was gonna say, that’s an adoring stare to you? It looks like she’s watching him and is having a nice evening, but I look at a lot of people like that. Jesus, if you saw me at social dances, you’d think I was head over heels for half my university’s male student population, and a good number of the females, too. At least, the ones who were good at dancing.

Whatever. If they’re happy, that’s great, whether or not it’s logical... don’t go getting all Spock on the topic of love (or friendship), here!

They’re both very sensitive and emotional people, and both are musically inclined. I could see it working for a while at least.
Also, he’s secure in knowing she’s not after his money or fame.

The only impression these photos made on me was, “Oh, I like that sofa.”

I really thought that it was a made up story, that maybe he was helping put together an arrangement for an album or something, until I read his statement that they had indeed been dating and subsequently broken up after a few dates.  I guess maybe opposites DO attract - at least until actual conversation is required.
