- The inevitable argument over Michael Jackson‘s estate has begun. In his will written in 2002, Jacko didn’t leave a cent to his dad, Joe. Instead he’s givin’ it all to his mom, kids, and a few charities. The custody arrangements are a little foggy so, for now, the kids are staying with their grandmother. [Wall Street Journal]
- The National Enquirer continues to be dead on (pun!) with their reporting. In January 2009 they predicted “Michael Jackson—6 Months To Live!” [Buzzfeed]
- Folks who had tickets to one of the singer’s concerts in London can score a refund from AEG, or they can opt for a special souvenir ticket, providing they didn’t get them from a private seller. The commemorative ticket has hollographic images of Jacko on the front. AEG is going to refund about $85 million worth of tickets for the 50 concerts. [CNN] — We say take the money and run.
- Jacko compelted the “Dome Project,” a super high-tech 3D video inspired by “Thriller,” a few weeks ago and was all set to bust it out during his London performances. The video has a bunch of different scenes, including a jungle, graveyard, and construction site. [AP via Yahoo] — It sounds a little like something the Village People would make, but we hope it gets released soon.
- The autopsy report, released by The Sun, may have been fake. The LA coroner said, ““The report that is being published did not come from this office. I don’t know where the information came from, or who that information came from. It is not accurate. Some of it is totally false.” [TMZ]
- Jacko’s perscription drug abuse was nothing new. In 2004, Michael’s brother Randy found him unconscious and called a paramedic. The doc was “shocked” by all the perscription meds he saw in the house. The family tried to intervene but, well, it obviously didn’t work. [FOX]
- Scarily, 12 Jacko fans and look-alikes have committed suicide since late last week. And one other dude tried to kill himself after the singer’s death was announced, but he was rushed to a hospital and saved. [The Sun] — Hey, die hard fan is not a literal term! Please stop.

I hadn’t heard about the 12 fans comitting sucide! I hope that’s false too, how could people be so dumb.

Not one Perez Hilton link, congrats Frisky. I know that it’s like weening yourself off heroin, but you’ll be fine, just fine.

Considering The Sun made up the autopsy report, I’m betting the suicide report is fake too.

I like the idea of the commemorative tickets. I was thinking that if I were one of the people that had tickets, I wouldn’t have it refunded. I think the sentimentality of those tickets just increased 10 fold. Wish I had one actually! I really hope the suicide reports are fake too. Although he was revered as near deity status, MJ was just a man, flesh and blood human. No need to follow in his footsteps people!! Ridonkulous.

@CheeeeEEEEse Um, what? I think if you look through most of my stories you will see that I seldom use Perez Hilton as a source.

@Nikki: Perhaps so, but that doesn’t hold true for everybody who writes here.
