I’m cooking Thanksgiving dinner for the first time this year. It’s a good thing my favorite Thanksgiving food isn’t turkey, because I’m pretty sure if there’s anything I’m going to mess up, it’s the bird. No, I’m more of a potatoes, stuffing, and (canned) cranberry sauce girl. What about you? We polled people on the street for their favorite T-Day foods.

Turkey is probably my favorite since it is the only day a year I eat it.

OK - I confess: I go ga-ga for the turkey HEART! Yeah, it’s kind of tough and muscle-ey, but it makes me feel all primal and cavelady hardcore. Like “Take THAT, fowl! I’m grinding up yer pea-brained, inbred, corn-fed SOUL!” Also, it gives me an opportunity shout “GIBLETS!”, which is always a good thing.
