Heart’s Nancy Wilson isn’t too happy that the Republicans used the song “Barracuda” at the convention. “The Republican campaign did not ask for permission to use the song, nor would they have been granted that permission.” Ouch. [EW.com]
Michael Phelps has been offered a recurring part playing himself on HBO’s Entourage. He makes an appearance in this Sunday’s episode. [WENN]
The Fish and Wildlife service printed the wrong phone number on cards, so callers are getting a sex line instead. Unfortunately, it would cost too much to reprint them—$300,000, in fact. “That’s a lot of money we can be using for wildlife conservation,” a spokesperson said. “With all of the needs for conservation, it doesn’t make sense to divert money away from an important cause.” [USAToday.com]
