The Daily Hotness: Robert Pattinson

Robert Pattinson

That hottie Cedric Diggory is going to be in another movie! Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire star Robert Pattinson stars in the hotly anticipated vampire movie, Twilight, based on a series of books by some goth writer. Apparently the story is about some teenage girl who risks everything when she falls in love with a vampire! Kind of like our Simcha and her tween crush on The Count.

Um excuse me but Stephenie Meyer isn’t just some goth writer…she isn’t goth at all. If you didn’t know anything about her or her books then you shouldn’t have put that on your site. It is rediculous and very offending to people who love her work and respect that woman very much.

I just said she was goth. I love goths. I was once goth, in fact I used to go dancing at a club called Soil. I am not joking you.

“by some goth writer” I don’t think you would write that if you were complimenting her. Your use of the word “some” before “goth writer” implies that she is just one generic writer amongst the millions of other “goth writers”. And by the way, she is not even goth.

@Lizzie I honestly did not mean her any disrespect. I’ve never read her, so to me she’s just an author who writes about vampires (a goth topic, whether you like it or not). But honestly, I would recommend getting all worked up about something a little more important.

I have actually met Stephenie, ” The Goth Writer” and apparently , your use of words is ridiculous, and by the way, half the world has read and heard of her, I doubt that you haven’t, that’s besides the subject, but obviously you disrespected her, and you should post an apology,
Hmph!
“Goth Writer” , Some goth you are!

You must be extremely messed up if you think there’s something wrong with her!!!!!!!  She’s the best thing that’s happened in the U.S. since man landed on the moon, and if your discin’ her then you must be some kind of idiot!!!

Calling Stephanie a goth writer cracks me up. The stories as I’m sure you might have learned since writing this article are far from gothic in any way. Too funny!

Stephenie Meyer is not some generic goth writer. Whether you like goths or not she’s not. The way she writes about vampires is inspiring and FAR from generic. She pulls it so far from the Hollywood vampire spectrum it’s almost unfathomable. Edward and Bella are not your typical goth teen angst #&@$%.
Stephenie Meyer is AMAZINGLY creative and brilliant. I would highly suggest you READ Twilight before you make your assumptions. If you had of you’d know that Meyer is not just “some” writer and you’d know it’s not gothic.

It’s a f*ckin love story for god’s sake.

Geez guys, get the hell over it already. Seriously.
So she called her ‘some goth writer’. Really, who cares? (Okay, stupid question..you obviously all do. Too much, really.)
She’s already clarified and said she hadn’t even read the series and just chose to use that description because of the topic of the book, which understandably sounds pretty ‘goth’. And she also wrote ‘apparently’ before describing the plot, which pretty much shows she hasn’t read them and so was probably not purposely dissing Stephenie Meyer.
I mean really, do you actually expect her to go read the books just because she’s going to write one tiny article about Rob Pattinson? The article really isn’t even about Twilight; it’s about Robert’s next movie, which just so happens to be Twilight.

Even though I’m a Twilight and Stephenie Meyer fan, even I can admit that a lot of times, the fanbase is way irritating =P

I know I am a little late in the game.  But please!!  Someonelse might see this and use this as a guide.

It doesn’t matter.  It you are a reporter get your facts straight.

Or you are going to be writing something as big as this.  She should have done her homework.

I said my peace.

Yeah!  TWILIGHT.  Go!  NEW MOON…..................
