The Best Mean Girls In TV And Film
We have a love/hate relationship with Mean Girls. In reality, we know from firsthand experience that Mean Girls can ruin a teen’s life. But when it comes to TV and film, we find Mean Girls totally entertaining and have been known to root for them. Usually, the Mean Girl in a show or movie is the most developed character. Being saccharin sweet like Serena van der Woodsen in the first season of “Gossip Girl” or Lauren Conrad throughout the run of “The Hills” is easy. But it takes work to be conniving, cunning, and misunderstood all at once. We decided to pay homage to entertainment’s best Mean Girls after the jump. Tell us in the comments which one you identify with the most!
- Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) on “Gossip Girl”
- Brenda Walsh (Shannen Doherty) on “Beverly Hills, 90210”
- Amanda Woodward (Heather Locklear) on “Melrose Place”
- Valerie Malone (Tiffani Thiessen) on “Beverly Hills, 90210”
- Regina George (Rachel McAdams) in “Mean Girls”
- The Heathers (Shannen Doherty, Lisanne Falk and Kim Walker) in “Heathers”
- Celia Hodes (Elizabeth Perkins) on “Weeds”
- Nicole Julian (Tammy Lynn Michaels) on “Popular”
- Rhonda Volmer (Daveigh Chase) on “Big Love”
- Big Red (Lindsay Sloane) in “Bring It On”

I didn’t think Brenda was a mean girl. She was totally sh*tted on by that bitch Kelly Taylor who chose to pursue Dylan than stay loyal to her BFF while she was in France and don’t forget when the both picked the same prom dress, who was a total diva about the sitch—Kelly. ...If anything, Kelly was the wench of 90210 until Valerie moved in.
Another mean girl Rose McGowan’s character in Jawbreaker.

I forgot all about Nicole on Popular!!!...
But by far, my fave is Celia Hodes. She always loses her battles with no dignity left, yet she still manages to berate those around her as if nothing was different. Gotta love how she’s truly indifferent to outside commentary (except for that of her mother…lol).
