#4—Our Pick: Michelle Williams
AskMen’s Pick: Robert Downey Jr.
2008 didn’t start off well for Michelle Williams. On January 22, her ex and the father of her daughter, Heath Ledger, died from an accidental overdose of prescription drugs. Throughout the fallout, she showed grace. Though she stayed out of the spotlight for a while after Heath’s death, she’s been promoting the Charlie Kaufman film “Synecdoche, New York” lately, and her indie film “Wendy and Lucy” has gotten positive reviews. While she received a Supporting Actress Oscar nomination for her amazing work in “Brokeback Mountain”, some critics are saying that “Wendy and Lucy” could win her one. Like Downey Jr., it’s been a comeback year for the former “Dawson’s Creek” star.
Her personal life is looking up too: Michelle’s got a new boy, director Spike Jonze. And her daughter is the cutest child ever.

You have got to be joking. Michelle Williams, Influential?!!!! What an incredible joke. And please stop associating her with Heath Ledger. They broke up many months before his death and he was happily dating Gemma Ward before the ‘accident’.
