AskMen’s Pick: Michael Phelps
The summer Olympics in Beijing were good to us Americans, but they were utterly amazing for swimmer Dara Torres. At 41 years old, Torres became the first woman to swim in the Olympics past the age of 40, and she is the first American female swimmer to compete in five Olympic games. But the woman didn’t just compete, she dominated: Torres took home three silver medals in her three events. You go, girl, er…woman!

Heck yeah, Dara is awesome!!! But shouldn’t she be #3 if Michelle Williams is already #4?

Thus far, Dara is the only woman on your list that truly inspired me this year. I really admire her. She makes me feel like anything is possible.
