Before Michelle Obama appeared in a Thakoon dress at the Democratic National Convention, the designer had no idea she would be wearing one of his creations. “I saw her on TV and I couldn’t even look, I was so embarrassed from being excited,” Thakoon Panichgul said. And now we’re embarrassed for being so excited because Thakoon has been named the next GO International for Target designer!
