• Pink Funhouse Pink’s post-divorce record drops today, but we’ve already be bopping our head to her single “So What,” which can pretty much been found on the radio at all times on one station or another.  Of all of Pink’s albums, this one feels the most personal, she’s exercising the demons from her divorce.  The album shares the title with one of Iggy Pop and The Stooges’ opuses, but the party fun house they were talking about isn’t anything like the empty remains of the domicile she shared with her ex-husband. Yet, somehow Pink’s pain makes for great, fun pop songs. Take notes Alanis Morrissette.

• Kaiser Chiefs Off With Their Heads
  The new record is hardly the riot they predicted in their first single. In fact, now their songs are about growing up, falling in love and feeling predictable. But even though the boys from Leeds have mellowed out, they’re still just as interesting as ever, which is so endearing.

 

• Snow Patrol A Hundred Million Suns
  Recorded in Berlin over the summer, you can hear the sunshine in this record.

 

• Ryan Adams and the Cardinals Cardinology
  Songwriter Ryan Adams, who can make a band as well-rounded as a pair of tight jeans, has rejoined The Cardinals to make their third record together. With songs like “Go Easy” on yourself, it sounds like he’s in good, supportive company.

 

• The Cure 4:13 Dream
  Robert Smith is still up to his old tricks and sound on the new record. Luckily, he’s not as depressed about it as he was in the ‘90s.

 

• Bloc Party Intimacy
  Dance floor dominators, Bloc Party, have released their third album of hip shaking hits.  Songs like “Mercury” will even have The Frisky’s astrosexoligist, Kiki T, rocking out to retrograde. We heart Kele Okereke!

 

• John Legend Evolver
  I don’t trust a guy who calls himself “Legend,” but Andre 3000, Kanye West, and Brandy do.  Although, this new record has taken his classic vibe and added modern mechanics.  So, maybe he really is an evolver.

 

• Eagles of Death Metal Heart On
  Queens of the Stone Age’s giant front man, Josh Homme, and Jesse “the Devil” Hughes have reunited to make their third thumping record of bad boy rock ‘n’ roll.

 

• Lady Gaga The Fame
  NYC club kid, Lady Gaga, just wants you to dance. You can catch her on tour with New Kids On the Block.

• “Mystery Science Theater 3000: 20th Anniversary Edition” Watch the best/crappiest sci-fi flicks with the funniest characters.
• “The Flintstones: Complete Series” Get inspired to wear more animal print with the classic Hannah-Barbera cartoon about cavemen.
• National Lampoon’s “Animal House” The little frat that couldn’t, well, do anything but make us laugh, has been re-released with a second disc of bonus games, interviews with cast members, and an A&E documentary. Even I’d go back to college, if Otis Redding would play my parties!
• “News Radio: The Complete Series” Back in the 90’s, when it was OK to like Andy Dick, he made a hilarious sitcom about a talk radio station with Dave Foley from Kids In The Hall and Joe Rogan, who went on to host Fear Factor.
