If closets could speak, I think they would say a big thank you to Sienna Miller for rescuing them from a life of terminal boring-ness and providing them with a wealth of fabulous items. Thanks to her eclectic, avant-garde, anything-goes style, Sienna has cultivated a signature status as one of the world’s most celebrated style icons, one which she has kept firmly intact pretty much since the first time she ever graced a red carpet. That’s why I’m using her as my muse for this week’s Stylehiving, drawing inspiration from the super-chic ensemble she recently sported while promoting her new flick The Edge of Love during the Edinburgh International Film Festival.

Keira Knightley is so freaking skinny she makes Sienna Miller look chunky. Can someone please fetch Keira a burger and fries? With cheese… and a chocolate shake…

How can you be so rude to insult Keira in such an evil way? She’s not anorexic. How many times should the poor girl say it? She’s one of the nicest celebrities of all time and then so many people hate her. Why? I can’t understand. She has such a super personality. I have a sister who has a slim figure just like Keira and she doesn’t put on weight. no matter how much she eats. Also, if I may point out, Keira is standing sideways which makes anyone look thinner, and Sienna is wearing horizontal stripes which makes everyone look wider. Just an observation. But really we can only blame society for making weight what we notice when looking at these two beautiful girls, instead of their rockin style, which after all, was the inital point of the photo....

As a naturally skinny girl, I do tend to think Keira is the same way (you can generally recognize unnaturally skinny by excessively protruding clavicles and pokey chest/rib/arm bones a la Laura Flynn Boyle and pre-baby Nicole Ritchie).
However, being in Hollywood probably pressures her to stay on the skinniest of her skinny side. And bad posture only accentuates it.

I don’t know. Keira is really, really thin. It doesn’t seem natural at all. I just saw Atonement and her thinness was distracting, especially when she stood sideways. I’m sure she’s a lovely person, but she is a bit on the thin side for her height.
