Stylehiving: Blake Lively’s Summertime Style

It may be a case of life imitating art, or maybe its art imitating life—either way blonde beauty Blake Lively has a man and wardrobe sparking envy from women everywhere both on-screen in the mega hit Gossip Girl as well as off. With boyfriend Penn Bagdley always by her side, Blake has been looking more radiant, confident, and gorgeous than ever. And thanks to many public appearances and tons of leaked Gossip Girl images, we’ve been treated to a vast array of date-night outfit inspiration. Here are three of my favorites, after the jump….

LOOK #1

At the premiere of The Dark Night, Blake looked lusciously leggy in a Vena Cava studded romper paired with Jimmy Choo metallic pumps and some bracelets.  A romper is a super fun alternative to a mini dress for a date, plus it erases the fear of having a “Britney moment.” You can wear a basic romper with sandals for day, or dress it up with pumps like Blake for a night out.

LOOK #2

While filming scenes for Gossip Girl in the Hampton’s, Blake, as Serena van der Woodsen, sported a lightweight Vena Cava tank dress paired with a bold blue Chanel bag and gladiator sandals for a fun, effortlessly-chic daytime look that could easily transition to night when worn with killer pumps.
