the rodarte line dropped today here in LA.
I tried on several dresses. yuck. even the sales lady said to me as I returned the dresses “Don’t these things look so much better on the hanger? They look awful on everyone!”.

Is it available online? I’d prefer not to schlep to Target tomorrow, as I already have to brave Whole Foods.

I work at Target in Iowa, and I didn’t know a thing about it. I don’t know how they’re going to have room, we have so much clearance it’s ridiculous!

I don’t think it’s gonna be ugly competition for Rodarte in most areas. I think the majority of target shoppers have never heard of Rodarte before. I looove the dresses but most of the pieces are too over the top for my taste.

I tried on four of the Rodarte dresses at Target the other day, and 3 of them looked awesome on the hanger but awful on me. The other one was actually flattering but had a lot of really really itchy lace on the top…It was pretty disappointing.

Same happened with the Anna Sui Target line. Cheap crappy fabrics made the dresses look terrible on. I am not even going to bother with the Rodarte collection, Target doesn’t even really make stuff in my size unless it’s juniors and even that tends to look terrible a lot of the time.
