Study Shows Link Between Brain And Sexuality
Gay men and straight women share some characteristics in the area of the brain responsible for emotion, mood, and anxiety, researchers from Sweden’s Karolinska Institute wrote in a study, and heterosexual men and homosexual women’s brain scans were not symmetric, with the right hemisphere slightly larger than the left. Following this study, which suggests that nature has a role in sexuality, researchers are wondering whether doctors will be able to look at the brains of newborn babies and predict their future sexual preference. Further investigation is needed, but this could make coming out to parents a whole lot easier. Child: I’m gay! Parent: We’ve known since you were a newborn! [Reuters]

That was interesting…wonder what bisexual brains are like? Exactly symmetrical?
...and I hope they never let doctors test newborns for their sexuality. That is no one’s business, but the kid’s business and most of those parents running to get their newborn tested would probably be crazy homophobes anyway. I’d hope this world could be as evolved to let anyone love whoever they want without judgment, but atlas, not yet and maybe never :(

I’m bisexual, and I have always felt like I was equally man and woman. I think that they will find the mind to be on a sliding scale, with “masculine” and “feminine” at the poles.
I have to say that this post’s title amuses me. “Study shows link between brain and sexuality” - like, where else would they find it, the big toe?
