Sperm Have To Be “Turned On” To Fertilize An Egg
A study published in the Journal of Proteome Research found that sperm can’t fertilize an egg immediately after entering the female reproductive tract. No, sperm are fickle little guys. An activation process scientists call “capacitation” has to take place in them. Basically, the cells in the sperm have to be “turned on” for them to do their deed. So, not only do you and your man have to be in the mood to make babies, but so do his male reproductive cells. Researchers are working on figuring out what gets sperm in the mood. This could actually be useful if they could figure out a way to get sperm to turn “off”—then we might have another birth control option.

“capacitation” sounds like a “Survival Instinct”, everyone knows that the v-jj isn’t a hospitable place for the little guys. It’s like an action movie, they are shot and wounded, making their way to their gun, they pick it up shoot the bad guy and collapse in victory.

Wait!...that’s only Part 1 of the equation. After getting lit (capacitation), Part 2, the egg still has to say Yes, or No to said chosen “lit” ‘zoon. Another chemical change allows the wall of the egg to give entry to it, and seals up after. So even on the cellular level, the woman always reserves the right to submit.
