When some people see silver shoes, “2001: A Space Odyssey” comes to mind. But when I see them, I think, These will match everything in my closet! Because metallics like silver and gold aren’t really colors, you’ll be able to wear them with even more of your clothes than a pair of black heels—as long as you don’t mind putting up with a few cracks about your space-age kicks.

Catherine, I completely agree. Metallic shoes do go with everything. I have a pair of gold boots that I’ve worn the past two winters. I also looove the MJ boots. Why do I always like the most expensive things?
