I have a total thing for Mandy Moore that is not very easily explained. She’s no superstar in any department, though I think she’s a decent actress and singer (frankly, I loved her album of cover songs). But something about her seems nice and smart and she’s definitely stylish, which is why we’ve pulled together a slideshow of some of her hottest looks. BUT while I was doing research, I came across this video, of her covering Rihanna’s “Umbrella”. She does it in a very moody way. I like it. And normally I think people should keep their grubby paws off RiRi. Anyway, slideshow after the jump…

I saw this a few months back. Very good take on it. The issue with MM, I mean, other than the fact that she’s not my lady, where she would find herself singing “500 Miles” by the Proclaimers to me each night, is that she dates losers. Which is probably why she’s not my lady… we all know I’m a catch, after all have you seen my collection of ascots?
