Gallery: Super Skinny Actresses Who Claim To Eat Like Pigs

Blake Lively

Why is it that super skinny celebrities loooove to talk about how they eat like pigs? Seriously, ladies, we don’t even slightly believe you. In the most recent issue of Glamour UK, Blake Lively of “Gossip Girl” professed, “I had to do a scene in a bra and shorts for the first time in two years…On the day of the shoot, I ate a pork burrito, chips and Coke. Afterwards, I thought, ‘I probably shouldn’t have done that.’ But whatever…I have never worked out.” LIES! Maybe you ate a pork burrito that day, but you totally had dressing-free lettuce the other 30 days that month?

Read on for a bunch of other famous stick-figures who claim to be piggies. [Ace Showbiz]

They all say they like to eat a lot, but do they actually do it?

They probably just exercise like crazy. If they do eat.

Well, the only ones who say they don’t work out is Taylor and Blake.  The other ladies don’t mention that they probably have personal trainers 5 days a week and/or state-of-the-art home gyms to keep them from gaining weight.  I freakin devour some In’n Out, fries, pizza and ice cream. But most days of the week, I eat vegetarian meals based on veggies and fruits and I am lucky enough to have a treadmill and workout equipment to keep me in shape.  All about balance.

They’re probably telling the truth especially the young ones.  When I was in high school I could eat half a pizza and a large bowl of ice cream in a sitting and I was 5’7 and 98 lbs.  I had such a fast metabolism that I was hungry all the time.  My metabolism has slowed down since I have aged but I’ve started working out recently and find that once again I’m very hungry fairly often.

Celebrities are an alien species. For normal people, it’s called high metabolism. I’ve always been skinny, regardless of how much I eat or work out. I’ve actually tried to eat more and work out in hopes of gaining weight.

Oh and having seen Sarah Jessica Parker in a bra and panties throughout the years on SatC that girl works out a lot.  Even at my thinnest I never had guns or abs like hers, I just looked thin while being devoid of any muscle mass.

Yeah, if I had their $$$ and time and my JOB was to look good and be thin and in-shape, I’d probably be able to do it.  It’s amazing what a personal trainer, state-of-the-art equipment and a nutirtionist and/or personal chef can do for one’s figure. I agree with LayD. They say they all love food and eating and think about it all the time, but that doesn’t translate to: I sit on my couch all day and eat Dorito’s. Yeah, I’m obsessed with junk food as much as the next person and will sit around my office and talk about how badly I want to sink my teeth into a burger, but then I go out and get a salad.

My girlfriend is 5’7” and a size double zero—after two kids.  Its disgusting.  My mother regularly accuses her of being anorexic (not to her face, of course.  My mother doesn’t operate that way)

I have never, EVER seen anyone who eats as much as she does.  And DRINKS as much as she does.  And she has to battle to keep on weight.  It is totally not fair.

So when they say they eat like pigs—like SJP—they probably do.

@ bumbler

although i’m sure sarah jessica parker works out, i must say that my roommate NEVER works out, eats like a pregnant pig, is super thin (5’6 & ~100lbs), AND she has a six pack and very well defined arms.

Yeah, they mostly say they “like” certain foods or they “like to watch TV and eat all day” which doesn’t mean they actually do it- it could just be wishful thinking. smile  I don’t think any of them, except the Olsen twin, is really super-skinny anyway.  Ok, maybe SJP..  but she definitely works out too.  And Tyra does eat.  She’s not fat, but she’s not like she was back in the day.

@Anonymiss Really?  I’ve never heard of that before.  That’s unique.  Most of the naturally skinny girls I know aren’t defined at all.

@BluenBlonde I agree with you.  They all seem to be built on the same lines I am, small boned with narrow hips, shoulders, ribcages etc.  You can see they have some fat on them especially in the arms which aren’t sticks just curvy on a smaller frame than most womens.  The bad thing about this frame for me at least is that when your metabolism slows down and you do gain weight you don’t get curvy hips or boobs (I wish) just a little pot belly.

The thing with the “Gossip Girl” stars is that I’m a little older than them, by maybe a year or two, and up until last year I COULD eat whatever I wanted and never break 105 pounds. In the past year I’ve definitely seen my metabolism slow down, as have many of my friends. Honestly, I was a 90lb teenager who lived on french fries and pizza, but I definitely can’t do that now. A lot of it is genes, a lot of it is age, and a lot of it is eating right sometimes and “pigging out” other times.

13 comments and most likely more to come.  why the f#*k do you people even care?  How important is what these half-wit twats eat or how they exercise?  Does any of this actually have a positive effect on your lives?  Put a stop to asinine reporting like this by ignoring it, stop drinking the kool-aid folks, this is exactly why Michael Jackson takes precedents over imprisonment of innocent Iranians, important political stories, and REAL news for weeks on end. Educate yourself and comment on stories that matter and dont let b.s. entertainment writers dominate our media.

I’m a little person, non celebrity that eats like a linebacker. I scare most people with my diet. My roommate, and a few of my female friends are the same.

By the way, none of us work out. I guess its just genetic.

My comment was not to induce riots, but to instead say that this does happen in real life.

P.S. My favorite foods include quesadillas, cuban food (almost always cooked with pork), onion rings, brownies, and lo mein.

By the way, although I don’t exercise, I tend to stay active…never just staying in one spot…cleaning, doing a ton of things.

I’ve also learned that to keep a metabolism sped up, distribute your meal eating evenly. Eating one big meal a day is going to make your body go into starve mode, while snacking throughout the day on the same amount will speed up your metabolism and make you burn food constantly, instead of trying to store it, since your body will be used to being fed every other hour…

So are we not supposed to make comedies anymore either?  There are serious biopics and docudramas we could be watching instead.

I believe them. I’m the exact same way. 5’8, 120 pounds. And I’m not bulimic. I’m not proud of the way I eat and need to change it soon because i’m sure my metabolsim won’t always be so awesome (i’m 25), but I literally eat multiple multiple servings of these things most days: Doritos, cake, ice-cream….basically anything junky. I’ll sometimes finish a big bag of chips in a day and half :$

Maybe if there wasn’t the huge amount of pressure in the industry to be waif-like and resulting public backlash for having ‘unrealistic’ figures, these women wouldn’t feel the need to justify their bodies by talking about their eating habits, and we wouldn’t have to hear these ridiculous proclamations of gluttony.

It is well known that Ashley Olson ate only slightly more (and usually salad) than her twin.

Taylor Momsen is too skinny, but she’s like 15 so I believe her that it’s metabolism. The others are all L-Y-I-N-G. Or, I will give them, exaggerating.

People I have encountered in the past who have claimed to “eat like pigs” usually have disordered eating of some kind. They might eat like pigs in one meal a day, meaning they are still consuming far less calories than they need to be. They might skip breakfast or lunch and then eat a large dinner.

It all evens out in the end. I work out to maintain a slim figure. I have to work hard at it and just don’t believe there isn’t at least something medically. if not psychologically, wrong with these women.

I’d love to see a photo of a fat person saying:  “I just love to eat - cheeseburgers, pizzas, fries, you name it.”  They’d be condemned a hell of a lot quicker than these women who are in shape.

misschaotic and lauren25, i’m with you. i’m 24, eat what i want, and haven’t gained weight since high school. i occasionally work out, but mostly it’s just genetics! i also balance out eating junky stuff with lots of fruits and veggies because for the most part, that’s what my body naturally craves. i don’t think people really understand it unless they’re in the same situation, but it sucks when people are rude and assume you have some sort of eating disorder…
