10 Signs He’s Just That Into You

Sometimes it’s difficult to tell the difference between a guy that is just being nice and one that is totally into you. Sure, we women have a tendency to over-analyze everything (did you see “He’s Just Not That Into You”?!), but that usually happens after we’re dating the guy. So how do you know for sure he’s trying to get with you? Here are 10 signs he’s obviously into you.

1. He greets you by your name after only meeting you once.
2. He directs his conversation towards you even amongst a group of folks.
3. He Googles you to find common interests and mentions his findings casually in conversation.
4. He befriends your BFF to get closer to you.
5. He notices and comments on the effort you put into your outfit.
6. He steals glances at you.
7. He’s willing to hang out with your friends.
8. He knows the nicknames you and your friends have given each other.
9. He’s memorized your commute routine and happens to run into you on the subway every morning.
10. He makes up opportunities to hang with you.

Warning: If he shows these signs, it’s also possible that he’s a stalker.

I live by the “He’s Just Not That Into You” adage, and even if a guy is showing these signs but not asking you out… it’s bad news. He may be into you, but not super into you. If he really likes you, he’ll tell you. Straight up. It’s that easy. Boys are pretty simple when you live by HJNTIY rules, girls are the ones who make it so complex.

i know this isn’t supposed to be for advice, but it’s kinda on topic, and gskillz comment made me think of it.

Should a guy tell a girl he likes her if she has a boyfriend?
(addendum: this bf is kind of a douche and although she is very much not the type to easily get upset, she always seems to be after talking to him).

@Throne: You have no idea how relevant this question is to my life! Though in my case, despite displaying numerous ‘into me’ qualities a guy has decided to deny that he’s into me, probably because I’m in a relationship. (For what it’s worth: It’s an on-the-rocks LDR, but I’m still trying to make it work is because this guy keeps contradicting himself.)

lol I love the stalker comment! Ive never had a guy accidentally “bump” into me somewhere off his normal route. Though my current boyfriend lives an hr and a half away from me so its not possible.

umm.. the subway thing… -“ways to know a guy is stlaking you,” he memorizes your daily commute and “runs” into you often.. haha! Oh well.. interesting seeing you here…
