Sharon Stone Topless On The Cover Of Paris Match

Sharon Stone topless

There’s been plenty of talk of airbrushing in the news this week, and we have no doubt that 51-year-old Sharon Stone‘s bod was given the same treatment for this Paris Match cover. They certainly didn’t skimp on the body oil, that’s for damn sure. In spite of all of Stone’s cuckoo banana antics (or maybe because of them), we still kind of love her, and agree that in general, despite the Botox, boob jobs and who knows what else, she looks pretty smokin’. That said, do you find it to be totally effed that being “body confident at age 50!” basically has to involve plastic surgery—you know, in the celebrity magazine world, anyway? Maybe in addition to airbrushing labels, there should be plastic surgery warnings slapped on ads and glossy spreads, too.

Uhrm yeah, I guess that’s all we really have to say here, except one also might add that if you’re gonna get a boob job, this seems like a fairly tasteful size, no?

OMG.  I remember reading ParisMatch in high school French class.  Our teacher sharpie-d out all the topless pix so the boys wouldn’t lose their sh**.

Enough with the 50-year-old nudes/“I’m Proud of my Body.”

Why hasn’t anyone discussed the pathetic desperation behind all of this?  Shouldn’t the Madonnas and Sharon Stones and whomevers be happy with their unbelievable success?

This so diminishes them.  Madonna and Sharon Stone were supposedly the completely ballsy broads who challenged men and their concept of women.

Not so much now I guess. THe more things change the more they stay the same.

Look, I’m as critical as the next person about too much airbrushing and spoiling the minds of young girls about what is beautiful.  That being said, I’m a normal woman in her almost 40s and I happen to think that maintaining yourself is like maintaining a car.  You have to DO things to them to keep them running properly and looking their best.

Also, did anyone ever think that these women may not be doing this for men but for themselves instead?  I can promise you that I try to look beautiful for me because it makes me feel good, if men appreciate it that is bonus, but that’s not the reason I keep up appearances.

I can promise you that I have been given the tools to look better and will continue to use them as I get older.  I probably won’t opt for plastic surgery, but there are no guarantees.  It’s her body, not ours.  Never has been.  Women in their 50s have lived long enough to appreciate their minds and bodies and make their own decisions about both, whether the world agrees or not.

@stellanuova.  Food for Thought.

I agree with the maintenance; however, no matter how many oil changes you give your Chevy Nova, it’s never going to look like a Porsche. Sharon Stone looks better than a lot of 25-year-olds because of her genes.

As for doing it for themselves and not for men, well….That may be absolutely true.  But whether they’re desperate to look 25 all their lives for men, other women or themselves still strikes me as desperate.

Having said that, Sharon Stone is the most beautiful of the bunch.  Her legs are better than most 25-year-olds.  So.  Well…

Maybe the point is just to continue to respect and take care of your body.  It may never look like Sharon Stone’s, but a little exercise and pilates will certainly make it look better and make you feel better.

I don’t know.  But you’ve given me something to think about, which is the point of this.
