To say I don’t regret them would be going a little far, but I don’t beat myself up over it either.  (1) Hooking up with 3 different guys during a 1 week Florida vacation—one on the balcony of the condo.  It was 4am, though, so I don’t think anyone saw.  (2) Having a full-blown relationship with a guy who was not my BF, while I lived in another city for a semester internship.  “Other guy” new about my “real” BF, but BF never knew about “other guy.”  We weren’t just hooking up, we were an actual couple all over town for 6 months. (3) Having dated a lead singer, guitar player, bass player, drummer and DJ—a whole band—just not from the same band! (4) A very hot set of best friends, not at the same time.

1) did the deed with the student government president in the student government office on campus. I was an 18 year old freshmen and he was a 24 year old senior.

2) had a quickie in the dorm elevator (had to pull the alarm for that one. luckily it stopped the elevator but the alarm was disconnected.)

I just started my second year of college so I’m hoping I make more memories to not regret.

The one at the top of the list from freshman year though is making out with a guy I had just met at a party my then f-buddy was throwing (and the guy was a friend of his). A couple of months later (I went out of town for winter break) we started a sporadic purely physical relationship that was absolutely wonderful. I have this thing for subcultural hookups. I go through phases. Jazz musicians, anarchist vegans, sensitive art guys… I could talk about it forever. But I think the funniest was sleeping with the captain of the debate team, then sleeping with a captain of our rival team the next night. I did this not once—but twice. I know have a serious bf who I am really really happy with but sometimes I miss my crazy times.

I sort of regret staying with my high school girlfriend my first three years of college. I don’t regret ending it with her my senior year and hooking up with three friends over the course of the year who clearly had the hots for me but had kept their distance due to the gf. It raised my confidence immensely and helped me get into the dating pool much easier than I might have otherwise.
