Finally, Second Life has a use beyond virtual sex! Spanish health authorities launched a virtual portal on the site that lets teens discuss health issues with doctors without having to speak to one face-to-face. Now, shy teens willl be able to get all their blow job questions answered by a professional, without blushing. [The Guardian, U.K.]

Why do mainstream journalists’ blogs always use the same 2 or 3 ugly stock photos of Second Life? Even if they don’t feel like sending some interns up to SL to take some pix, and even they don’t feel like buying good photos from SL residents, Linden Lab would be happy provide MSM journalists with all sorts of free publicity photos. The MSM could even buy pix from residents,
