Is Rihanna’s New ‘Do Hot Or Not?

I knew it had been way too long since she last changed it up. Check Rihanna out, or should I say, check it out—the new mop-top, completely shaved sides, mohawk-esque ‘do. If you ask me, there’s only one person right now who pulls off the whole shaved half-head trend and it’s this lady, above. It just works—the avant-garde fashion, the shades, the what-the-eff-you-looking-at-beyotch look. Love everything. Especially, when we are all inundated with perfectly turned out stars with their perfect-mussed-up beach curls and perfect Rachel Zoe-styled red carpet clothes. She’s real. (And, speaking of, how great would the hair look paired with some super frothy, ethereal dress—a very yin and yang juxtaposition.) What say you?

Looks good on her, although a lot of ppl are crediting Cassie for the original idea. Regardless of whether Ms.Fenty got her inspirations from Cassie, she still rocks it better. So on the hit or miss scale, I’d give it a 10.

I disagree. I feel like everyone is compelled to say it looks good, all because we labeled her as unique. Its still ugly, whether on Cassie or Rihanna. She looks tacky, like she’s trying too hard. She kind of looks like someone’s mom in that picture.

I dunno. She’s a very pretty woman, but she sort of reminds me of a brunette version of Beaker (from the Muppets) with that cut.

I really don’t think Cassie (who?!) was the first girl to shave her head. I do like - cue whiny angst - that if my friends or someone normal does it, its hideous, but if you’re famous, its cute.
