Remembering Aaliyah Through Her Videos

Eight Years Since Aaliyah's Death

Yesterday marked eight years since singer Aaliyah died, along with her entourage, in a plane crash in the Bahamas. Her three albums, Age Ain’t Nothing But a Number, One in a Million, and Aaliyah, which was released the month before her death, were each certified double-platinum. In remembrance, we take a look back at some of her best videos.

I think her untimely premature and tragic death cut short her contribution to the R&B music industry by much and we’ve only been allowed a glimpse of the legendary musician she could’ve been. She was truly talented. RIP baby girl.

She was such talented artist and I remember her passing. It was really tragic and I had friends who were just heartbroken.

I remember being heartbroken when she died - thank you for remembering the talent that she shared with the world before her untimely passing. Can’t believe it’s been 8 years already.
