Quote Of The Day: Kate Gosselin Wants To Be In The Movies
“I’ve done enough years on TV that I feel like it’s a normal, comfortable, natural place to be. I’d love to be in a movie at some point, I’d love to be the voice of a cartoon character in a movie for my kids. I think that would be fun.”
— Kate Gosselin answered “any and all reasonable questions” on last night’s episode of “Jon & Kate Plus 8.” When a viewer asked if she wanted to ever marry again, Kate replied:
“To be honest, I don’t know. I really don’t want to be married again, but I don’t want to be alone. The alone-ness is really alone.”

i’m not a huge fan of kate but this is unreasonably snarky:
“Who knew you could feel so alone with eight kids under your thumb?”
the fine, forward thinkin’ ladies at the frisky know better than that. kids are not a band-aid or a substitute for any kind of relationship. i mean, that comment was downright old-fashioned. i am not at all surprised she feels lonely, most women post-separation do. i would hope that a website like the frisky would recognize that any woman, regardless of her age or reality show status, can feel reasonably lonely even if she is a mom.

@kr070707, you took the words right out of my mouth…
And she is already in a movie, except no one wants to be in hers.

Now Kate, just go away leave the rest of us alone in our aloneness. You are an insipid famewh*re and no one is interested in you. No one with a modicum of intelligence, that is.

Kate in a movie!!! She has been on TV for way too many years, I wouldn’t buy a ticket to go see her, she is already a bad actress. I got a laugh out of her on Ellen the other day. If she is so a Mother first then why isn’t she there all the time, yeah I know her family is allowing her to collect a paycheck, but are the kids. Who is protecting their investment?? There are no actresses pathetic enough to play her, well except Jon’s girlfriends.
Get a life Kate and stop mooching off society.

Like she is so alone while her bodyguard Steve has to sleep in her room. She is such a fake as a mom and a representative in her mind of what mothers are like who work and take care of a home. All that “it is so hard and different with multiples”. It is no different to feed five than to feed eight…just change the amounts and move on with the day. Millions of women do it every day without nannies, ironers, clothes folders, and cleaners. Hope TLC has listened to people and move away from this family into an actual learning show.
