I would really have to argue about birth control not affecting libido, I mean first of all, any kind of contraceptive is hormones! While it is normal to go through ups and downs of your sexual appetite, as a long time user of different forms of contraceptive (depo, nuvaring, several types of oral pills, I’ve tried it all) I noticed a definite change for myself personally.  This summer I decided to get off of any kind of pill all together because frankly I wasn’t sleeping with anyone, or planning on it.  I’ve definitely noticed a jump in my libido and it’s not just that I wasn’t having sex either.  Another thing I’ve noticed now that I’m off the pill and now using condoms/spermicide for contraceptive, I’m able to orgasm more easily.  Of course this all varies from person to person - so this is just my experience.

I agree with dirtyboots. I had no libido, almost absolutely no drive whatsoever, when I was on the pill. And I been really horny before I got on it. Once I got off, it came back full force. It took me a while to connect the two, but once I did, I got my husband to get himself clipped.
