1. I’m so happy for Bethanny. She’s finally getting the one baby she wanted!
2. Disbarred and expelled are not the same thing. If he was disbarred he could no longer practice medicine, which he can. He has been expelled from the society.
So sly

I just hope that stupid doctor never practices medicine again, and from now on docs screen potential IVF moms better, like with a thorough psych evaluation and to ensure that the kids are born in a healthy and stable environment (at least where parent(s) have jobs and a home!!!). It’s just insane that this guy helped that whack job give birth to 14 kids!

But he wasn’t disbarred though… He can still impregnate women with a gajillion babies according to the law…

We’ve skirted the whole H1N1 thing with our tailgating beer pong by filling our cups with water and having a tall beer waiting on the sidelines for personal consumption only

We did not ban beer pong at the New York College, RPI. I’m a student (and newspaper reporter) there. The Health Center just warned against it, since there’s a spike in the number of flu cases that come to the health center after every weekend and many are the result from parties. I’m surprised this has spread so far across the nation, jeesh.

Maroon—exactly what I was going to say. It’s much more hygienic.

I’m excited about the Oprah/Palin interview, though I don’t think it’s going to be as confrontational as some people believe. I’ve seen Oprah interview people who disagree with her political views and she is always polite and lets the people have their say. It should be interesting!

@maroon - I think that should be a permanent update on beer pong regardless of h1n1. I have toooo many college memories of chasing a ping pong ball across the dirtiest of basement floors ...

Kind of ironic that the American Society of Reproductive Medicine kicked him out of the group since there is NO oversight of reproductive medicine and any doctor can do whatever they want—including implanting 8+ embryos and giving IVF to a woman who clearly doesn’t qualify for medical reasons. And the ASRM is the one bucking the idea of Federal oversight of reproductive medicine *and* has no measures in place to make sure that their doctors comply with the ‘recommended guidelines’.
Congrats to Bethenny—the two shows I saw of Real Housewives NYC” I loved her.
And does the new HBO series sound like a “Sex in the City” remake to anyone else?
