Kelly Bensimon Will Pose For Playboy
  • Kelly Bensimon of “The Real Housewives of New York City” is slated to appear in the December issue of Playboy. [Dlisted]—Are lopsided breasts a fetish now?
  • Villagers in the town of Pataudi near Delhi have accused Julia Roberts of interrupting one of their most important religious festivals, Navratri, with the filming of “Eat, Pray, Love” at their temple. [BBC]—I don’t really know how things go in this village, but I’d assume the temple officials (if there are any) would have known when the filming would occur before agreeing.
  • Sylvester Stallone, like a lot of other celebrities, is tinier than he tries to portray. Check him out next to his children. [City Rag]
  • Why do some young men hit up the Cougar Convention? So they can get their debt paid, that’s why. [F-Listed]—Cougars are basically sugar mamas.
  • Blogger-turned-author-turned-movie-producer Tucker Max is known for sleeping with drunk women and then labeling them skanks, but now one of his exploits has decided to tell her side of the encounter. [Lemondrop]
  • The three daughters of an Arizona couple were seized last year because the parents took photos of them while bathing. [Shine]—I know we have to be cautious about sexual abuse and children, but sometimes a photo is simply a photo, not pornography. I would have been taken from my mom several times if this were a worry in the ‘80s.

OK, I’m all for keeping kids safe and all, but, seriously, removing them from the home for a bath photo? Cripes, me, and every guy I’ve ever dated (well, long enough for his mom to pull out the baby album anyway) would have been orphans if they did that to us.

I just wish there was either a definite line, or at least a clause for common sense when it comes to dealing with this stuff. rolleyes

The story about the kids was also reported on CNN.

It’s truly insane that power was abused to that extent. We freak out over naked children far more than we should. The linked article above just angered me. The CNN story had me outraged - they got into more details. There is a huge difference between taking pictures of children doing anything they do normally and staging poses for sexual exploitation. To me, the key differentiator isn’t whether some pervert can find a given picture to be erotic (someone always will) - it’s whether the subjects were exploited. I hope that Walmart, the city, and the state successfully get the crap sued out of them.

JSW, places like walmart don’t often make the choice on child pornography pictures, they have their hands tied by the company to report naked pictures of any kind in respect to children, many workers may simply not do it based on what is also going on in the picture. My boyfriend worked at CVS when he was in high school and was processing film that was from a childrens party, on the role someone took a picture of a penis, a tiny penis, so it had to be reported to police. It turned out to be an adult with a tiny penis but it was not in his authority to not report this. Walmart probably has a policy that all of it must be reported to protect themselves. Im not trying to defend taking away these peoples children but policy is policy.

She was a spokesperson in 2006 for Wool as part of their Test Marketing Productions however, a current search of the Wool website indicates no 2009 relationship or representation. Kelly Bensimon, just like everyone else that appeared on the TV series she was on, doesn’t deserve our attention.  She doesn’t necessarily deserve to be thrown off a cliff, or to be fed to bears, but maybe she should spar with Mike Tyson.  At any rate, this vacuous cad from Real Housewives of New York is going to be appearing in Playboy.  The pictures are old – they were taken some years ago by her then husband, fashion designer/photographer and ELLE Magazine founder, Giles Bensimon.  The name of the show is a misnomer, as Kelly is actually gainfully employed.  (The people on the show are rotten – but most of them have jobs.)  One wonders if Kelly Bensimon needs some hard money loans.
