About the stupid pageant moments: I’m not surprised the contestants sound stupid - I’ve heard they’re coached not to sound either too intelligent or too adamant in their opinions. What surprises me is how inarticulate they are. They just babble. Aren’t these women coached to death on exactly how to look, sound and behave? The closest thing to a spontaneous moment in a pageant has to be someone falling on her a$$.
