Now she and Simon will have to curtail their extravagant shopping sprees and off-season trips to St. Bart’s. Oh no! And what about their $200,000 brownstone renovation?! not to make light of a job loss (sorry for her) but at the risk of asking a stupid ?: doesn’t a 6-fig* job disqualify one from being a “real housewife”? mine is in that “club” and while she certainly doesn’t look down at stay-at-homes she would be quite perplexed if someone tried to cast her for this show (that plus we’re in Atlanta & she wouldn’t go on-camera w/those psychos at gunpoint)...

*assume she was in that range if they were doing a $200K remodel/flying to St Bart’s

I wasn’t up on Alex working. Since I started watching the show I only seen her with her boys and they are a big job. She, like LouAnn needs a Rosie. I am not suprised that she confessed that she met Simon online while surfing for a one-night-stand. I agree with Romona and think they are a creepy couple, but so far I see that Alex is a good mother and the boys steal all her and Simon’s schenes. I am sick of jobs laying off women who are working to feed their children but if it had to be somebody, I’m glad it was Alex. I love to hate Alex because she is so high and mighty with those openning-night-at-the-opera NYT photos.
