“Jessica Simpson only washes her hair two or three times a month”
Her own hair, or her extensions??

Not that I’m jumping to defend Jessica, but I only “wash” my hair a few times a month too. But that’s because I have curly (read: dry) hair, and I scrub with conditioner every other day instead. Lots of curly girls do that.
But I have zero idea why Jessica Simpson would need to do that with her swap-em-in-n-out extensions..

I don’t have curly hair, but I only wash my hair once a week, twice if I’ve been especially active. I wash it more often in the summer, though. I’ve got really thick hair - I think if you’ve got thinner hair, you’ve got to wash it more often…and more than that if you run your hair through it.
I think the important thing to think about with Jessica Simpson is - is this how often she washes her own hair compared to how often she has it washed for her??

errr…if you run your hands through your hair. That’s what I meant.

@skeddy, I consider conditioner cleansing to be washing. That’s what I do, too. I read the blurb about her and it mentions her odor & greasy hair, so I feel pretty safe guessing she doesn’t.

@Sunrise—The idea behind Barbie was created by one woman, Ruth Handler, who then suggested the idea of an adult doll to her husband, who co-founded Mattel. The skeeze described above was the engineer who worked with Handler to physically create and design Barbie (though she’s based off a German doll). So you’re right, Barbie was created by a woman, but her body was not untouched by man…

It said in Glamour last month that she only washes her hair that much, but Ken Paves said she rinses and conditions it frequently between washes. So I don’t know why she’d have that funk.

for most people who have any kind of texture, washing your hair everyday or even every other day is terrible. but the beautiful straight hair people in the media don’t get that….it must be nice to strip your hair of natural oils on a daily basis and not deal with any consequences.

At most my hair will go 1 day without shampooing. Thankfully it’s straight and not very high maintenance.

Just ‘cause Lindsay Lohan is gettin’ cozy with Sean Penn doesn’t mean she’s straight. She could just be bi-sexual. Also, eww! He’s old!
