Quick Vid: Barack Obama Kills A Fly & PETA Flips Out.

When I watched this, I was pretty impressed with Obama’s fast hands and ninja-like focus. When a fly buzzes around my head there’s usually nothing I can do, but Obama smacked that little sucker dead. PETA, the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, however, were not pleased. This crazy organization said they wished he had not killed the bug. They’re sending him a Katcha Bug Humane Bug Catcher, which allows people to trap a bug inside and release it later. Puhleeeze! PETA needs to realize that if they continue to get upset about things like killing flies NO ONE is going to take them seriously. Wait, too late. [AP]

Yeah, I’m a member of PETA and even I think they need to calm down.  I mean many insects carry infectious diseases.

My husband, just this month almost died from a misquito bite on his forehead, and casued severe Cellulitis.  It was determined it must have landed on something poopy before it bit him.

Sorry PETA is getting even more whacked!

Yes this is true. PETA is currently annoyed at President Obama, as they would rather he grab some instant cash from the Treasury and buy a Katcha Bug Humane Bug Catcher. The group, which has some admirable and noble aims, has been accused of everything from political grandstanding to encouraging domestic terrorism. (PETA contributed funds to the legal defense of known eco-terrorist, Rob Coronado.)  They decry the act as being cruel. Obama was being distracted by the pestilent insect, and punished it for its insolence.  It isn’t as if there’s an insect vet for PETA to get online loans to take it to.
