before I started frequenting this site, I’d never even heard of her. Now, I’m beginning to wonder if she’s famous for her “music” or her outrageous “style.”

I love that she has the confidence and personality to be able to pull this off without looking trashy but really, what more can she do to shock us now?
She’s pretty much covered it all and i wouldn’t be surprised if she ends up starkers at some point.

@robertsmithshairspray, nothing against you or your opinion but I disagree.

I think she is quite talented, she sings pretty well live, she dances, plays piano, puts on quite the show (on and off stage) writes and arranges a lot of her own music. I really think she is just eccentric and uses insta-matic fame/celebrity culture as apart of her act.

I think she is just a cooky girl from NY who loves all types art and she just tapped into the zeitgest of infotainment/insta-celebrity going on right now. Her songs Paparazzi, Fame, Vanity and Beautiful Dirty Rich are basically parodies of fame, wealth and celebrity, hell even herself. Why are people taking her so seriously when this girl doesn’t- she’s a loony musician with a lot of creativity.  I honestly liked her VMA performance because there hasn’t been a performance so weird/subversive since Marilyn Manson.

Gaga obviously knows what she’s doing, she seems to have the premeditated/calculating pop iconagraphy of Madonna (who she is already being compared to)who got a lot of her inspiration from Bowie and Warhol.  I just think she is in on the joke and taking all her eccentricities/money to the bank.

She is extremely talented.  She can go from lounge music to disco to rock all in the course of one song.  She is a bit like a young Bette Midler back when she was playing with Barry Manilow.  She is a rare talent for this day and age.  She also writes her own songs and consults with her own design team to create her outfits.  Yep, she is definitely a rarity.  She also exudes a confidence that doesn’t seem to be present in any other performer nowadays.  I am surprised so many people say derogatory things about her.  Sure, her style isn’t to everyone’s taste but she is definitely talented.
She is what is known as “the whole package.”  And, to top it all off, she comes across as a really nice person with impeccable manners and treats others with dignity. 
I like her.  She’s cool.

Honestly they are NIPPLES!. Geez, last time i was home i went bra shopping and they had nipple covers and i was talking to my daughter about them when the young sales girl came up and say. ‘‘um, they are for um covering up, your um…um…’’ , where in i said NIPPLES.  Geez its just a nipple, all mammals have them.

As for Gaga, I could take her or leave her. I’m more of a Le Tigre, All Girl Summer Fun Band, or Bjork kind of guy. However, she doesn’t lip-sync, and that’s quite a feat these days, apparently. I respect that in a performer.

So happy to finally see some positive comments about Lady Gaga. I’ve always thought she was a nice change of pace from the other main stream acts we are constantly hearing about. She adds drama to the most boring of situations and I appreciate it! The VMA’s were pretty much the same ol’ until Gaga started spurting blood everywhere. Love her!
