For me, the psychological effects of some staring at me with tongue deep and lips locked would most likely stop any hormonal response and just cause tension—much like a Charlie horse. Not good or romantic.

I think it’s awesome that they kiss with their eyes open.  I agree with Suzie, you’re forming a deeper connection with someone when you’re intimate with them and you have your eyes open.

So, I think it all depends. If I’ve got something I don’t want to talk about with my guy I tend to close my eyes, and then feel guilty, and so I open them and face the music. Otherwise I keep them open as much as I can.

When we are just born that’s all we do - eye gaze with our moms. Biology has us practice it then so we can do it well when our really important affiliations need to be sealed later in life. He KNOWS you want to feast your eyes on him and don’t you wish he would do the same!
