I usually don’t like pregnant women (See “Pregnant Women Are Smug” for reference) but one that had the guts to wear these pants would be my best friend. Maybe it’s because I’m so unfashionable?

I believe this is part of a rather sophisticated campaign to bringing about the end of the “fashionable pregnancy” trend. Like, “Hey, if you’re pregnant, wear these. Then no one will notice!”—thus bringing about the assumption that it’s unhip to get preggers. Clever.
