Will They Grow? Blogger Posts Photos Of Her Naked Breasts

Martina started posting photos of her naked breasts on her blog “Will They Grow?” (obviously NSFW) last week, in order to chart their growth now that she’s on birth control. After the jump, she tells us why and what she hopes to see happen.

The Frisky: So what’s “Will They Grow?” all about?

Martina: “Will They Grow?” is a blog dedicated to the size of my breasts. Every day when I take my birth control pill, I take a photo of my breasts to document their growth as a reaction to the birth control hormones.

The Frisky: And why are you doing this?

Martina: I’m obsessed with breast size. I don’t know where that comes from, but I’ve always wanted bigger breasts. There are some great photos of me from age 15 wearing terrible padded bras that are so obviously fake, but at the time I thought it was great.

When I first started taking birth control pills in my late teens and early twenties, it had a significant effect on the size of my breasts and I was psyched. In the 10+ years since then, I’ve switched birth control brands and had a few years without hormones all together, and in the end my breasts are right back to where they started when I was 15 years old.

I recently started taking birth control pills again after a long hiatus, and my first thought was “BIG BOOBS.”  Breast growth isn’t a guaranteed reaction to the hormones: everyone reacts differently to hormones at different times in their lives. So in a way, it’s kind of getting my breasts psyched up and egging them on. “GROW! YOU CAN DO IT!”

The Frisky: Any results so far?

Martina: It’s been one week since I started on birth control, and I think I already see some growth. If you look closely… I’m constantly touching and looking at them, and it doesn’t seem that they’ve grown yet to the point where I need to start needing to wearing a bra.

The Frisky: Did you have hesitation about putting your breasts on display, and so many times?

Martina: I didn’t hesitate because I consider it a scientific archive as opposed to “sexy” photos—they’re grainy webcam photos taken in my kitchen with my pajama shirts lifted up to my shoulders. I chose the pose only because it was the best way to get both a side and front boob in the photos. In my opinion: not hot. But apparently people like them. I’m constantly lifting up my shirt to flash people through video chat, so it made sense that the “Will They Grow?” photos would look just like that: my shirt lifted up for a quick flash.

Plus, I’m not exactly a modest person. Even though I’m disappointed about my breast size, I’m still totally confident about them.

The Frisky: What kind of feedback have you received so far?

Martina: My favorite response by far: “If I were Plato and had to reflect upon the perfect nipple, from which all actually existing nipples were mere deviations, I would see yours.” Feedback like that makes me think it might not be so bad if they don’t grow.

I’m at work so I can’t click yet. But the top picture looks enticing to say the least. I’ve said it ad nauseum, but I like the petite look, boo for BC boobs!

How sad; why would she WANT them to grow? They’re perfectly formed and perky as it is. I love my A cups and am thrilled that at nearly 40 I still have the body of an 18-year-old. I’m all for her posting pictures of her perky tits on the internet if she wants to, but it’s too bad she can’t learn to appreciate her bod as it is.

Amazing how the slightest change in posture and lighting can affect things—they actually look bigger to me in the first few shots.

Dear Martina,

My boobs stopped growing when I was about 15. I blogged about this recently.

http://cocoafly.blogspot.com/2009/05/loving-my-itty-bitty-boobies.html

I was disappointed at first, but I love my bust and I feel beautiful. Like I wrote in my blog, if you’re rocking an A or B cup—Bproud and sexA. You’re breasts can be the size of air balloons, but is that going to make you happy overall in life? Stop worrying about your breasts and live your life.

Proud & SexA,
Cocoa Fly

as a petite lady at 5’2 and a 34D i would trade her any day.  i can’t wear certain types of shirts, ones with embellishments around the chest area.  i constantly have cleavage which is not a great thing while being interviewed for a job or while working.  i’m very self-concious about them and have been tossing the idea of getting a reduction (much to my husband’s dismay) for awhile now.  oh, and when i run, and i do a lot, it sucks.  it just does.  on the elliptical at the gym?  yes, you WILL get looks from the meatheads.  ugh.

I agree with the other poster, they’re perfect as is.

Though I tend to believe there is a biological impetus behind the fascination of large breasts, the truth is our intelligence is capable of working around that particular limitation.

And as a liberated male, I will gladly cup any breast for any reason.  I will not discriminate based on size or shape or ethnic origin, though I reserve the right to discriminate against oversized and unsymmetrical aerolas.

But this particular set of breasts are nearly perfect in many regards.  They look good from most angles, don’t require too much dexterity to manipulate and will look just as good when she’s in her late 40’s as they do today.  Try that with 34D’s.

That said, I do not wish to discourage her from this enlightening documentation project.

Those are some adorable boobs. As the owner of a pair of 42D’s, I can tell you that big boobs are not all they’re cracked up to be, just as annasbetter previously mentioned. Any kind of jogging or running can be downright painful if they’re not properly strapped down. And there’s the fact that I can’t wear button down shirts because the buttons always pop open around my chest. So, yeah - as with all things, the grass is greener. I actually find small perky boobs to be quite attractive.

I hate having a larger chest. I’m a DD (UK sizing) - I have guy friends who crack jokes about it, but seriously - I’d rather they were so much smaller (the chest not the guys!). I am so restricted on tops to wear that shopping is a depressing nightmare and I haven’t bought myself anything new for ages - I can literally never find anything. I find it utterly depressing and try not to think about it too much. You really don’t want bigger. xxxx

I’m small-busted and feel I need to ask something.  Are we any less a woman with small breasts?  I feel I’m not a true woman unless I have breasts which are noticed with clothes on.

She could easily get bigger boobs if she just gained a few pounds. She’s really skinny! With that said, her breasts are fine, in proportion with the rest of her body. Skinny chicks usually have small boobs anyway.

I’m 5’6” with a medium (athletic) build and barely fill a ‘Nearly A’ cup these days, and yeah - it does make me feel a little less womanly…especially when I go to the gym and wear a sports bra that basically smashes them down completely flat. There are definitely days when I’d kill for a B-cup…just as I’m sure some of the gals with boobs the size of my head would. *sigh*

@starla

Not only did you explain our situation better than I could but I agree with it.  For the record I’m 5’1” and can’t even fill a A cup.  I wear padded bras but I still fake and I’m embarrassed by my breasts.

she’s going to be in for a rude awakening.  with today’s low-dose pills, the breast growth pill users experienced in the past is very unlikely.

My boobs grew like a whole cup size on BC! It was awesome.  I went from a small A to a small B, and they didn’t lose their great shape and perkiness.  Not to brag, but I love my boobs.  They fluctuate in size depending on where i am in my cycle and I used to wish they would just stay at their biggest size, and now they do!
although, i do have a friend who went from a b to a c and got stretch marks…

Sometimes I think women are more concerned with bigger breasts than guys are (which I guess makes sense, you have to live with them). I like them smaller myself, easier to handle, okay to operate after drinking or taking cold medication, and when you are rolling around in bed you it’s one less thing that can knock you out.

I’m going against “standard dude operating procedure” here (as DeVore puts it), but I’ve actually been turned off by large breasts.

I prefer small and perfect to anything else. Such as yours. If they get too big they get uglier and unnatural looking. Who wants them things hanging down to your waste when you’re 80 anyway. More than a mouthful is waste as my momma used to say.

As a follow up I have found that smaller breasted women are better in bed as well.

@ Anna Banana- Gaining weight doesn’t help everyone’s boobs grow.  I’m a size 2 and I’ve been up to a size 8 and my boobs have always been an A cup, no matter what weight I’m at.

I used to hate being an A cup, I wore the very very padded bras in high school too. But after being friends with girls who were very well endowed and hearing them complain about it, even going as far as getting reductions I started to realize it wasn’t such a bad thing. I’ve never had any complaints from guys, and my fiance in particular thinks they’re amazing! Plus even after being preg and breastfeeding they’re still where they were when I was 18!
