For everyone out there who has ever had a friend, family member, co-worker, or stranger in line at the store who has shared a little too much of her pregnancy with you — this video is for you. “Pregnant women are smug. Everyone knows it, nobody says it, because they’re pregnant!” And for all you pregnant women out there, oh, we kid because we love. Seriously, your little belly is adorable!

I want not to think this is that funny, but I have at least two friends who became exactly that once they got pregnant (thank goodness more of my friends don’t have kids?).
They were the kind that rubbed their bellies constantly, too, which freaks me out. As soon as they had any baby bump at all, they couldn’t keep their hands off themselves. Eew.

@Blue Vibe: I hate the belly rubbing. They use it as a ploy to turn the conversation toward them and the growing fetus. I find the thought of essentially harboring another person within my body a little… disconcerting. But then, I’ve never been very good at sharing.
Adoption always seemed a better choice for me, personally. I love other people’s kids!

Besides, it’s not just the belly rubbing. We all know some of those who had “present face” at the wedding reception, and will again at the baby shower!

Most pregnant woman rub their tummy because its in the way. Its kind of like when you get a filling… you just want to poke it… well maybe thats just me. A pregnant belly was an excellent coaster.
