Ladies, meet Shane Ryan. He’s a crap human being. Like, crappier than Joe Francis, that “Girls Gone Wild” dude. Just how crappy is he? Ryan, a porn actor/director whose past work includes klassy flicks like “Vaginal Holocaust” and “Amateur Porn Star Killer,” is at work on a film based on Jaycee Dugard called “Abducted Girl: An American Sex Slave.” Yeah, Jaycee Dugard. As if getting kidnapped, locked in a backyard and repeatedly raped by some psycho wasn’t bad enough. According to IMDb, “Abducted Girl” is presently filming.
In an interview with CBS13, Ryan claimed, “We want to capture how sad this story is, but also how interesting. We’re trying to figure out a way to do this so it’s not exploitative.” Uh-huh. Riiiight. You just thank your lucky stars for the First Amendment! [Mercury News]

This poor girl has a J name and her last name sounds like those loons on TLC with 100 kids, thus I keep mixing her up with them. When I first read this headline I thought “Someone is making a porno about those crazies with a million kids? That sounds totally boring and weird.” But then I realized who you were talking about—sick sick. Can’t he just make up his own perv porn without involving this poor woman?

As I commented before on Jezebel:
Why is everybody referring to Shane Ryan as a porn/adult filmmaker/? He doesn’t make porn; he does amateur B-movies with horror and sexpolitation themes.
Quite frankly, I think I’d much rather if he *were* a pornographer . . . there are some dark, plot-based films that could actually do the theme well (if it was based on the events but didn’t try to promote it as “The Jaycee Dugard Story!”). Shane Ryan, on the other hand, no matter how they “try to not make it exploitative”, is going to do horribly. Ugh.
But please, folks. He is not a pornographer by any means, so let’s not do the whole blame-porn-for-being-tasteless thing- and if you are going to do that, there are quite a few real examples (Coctomom, anybody?).
