AskMen.com revealed its list of the Top 99 Most Desirable Women of 2009 today. Readers were asked to vote not just on sex appeal and beauty, but also on humor, ambition and intelligence. Kate Winslet is ranked 99. Beyonce is No. 50. And Eva Mendes is numero uno. We’ve decided to build our own list of desirable men based on readers’ votes. So let your voice be heard! Wow-I thought Hugh Laurie would be kind of an acquired taste. I didn’t think anyone else found found him attractive too. I guess I’m in the majority then.

I love Hugh Laurie as a comedian, but I’ve never had the urge to jump into bed with him. So I had to pick Harrison Ford.

i have the biggest crush on house, but i think it’s a combo of his looks and house’s character. i get mixed reviews when i ask other people how they feel about him, but its good to see him winning hear.

I know loads of people based in the US who have a thing for Hugh Laurie based on ‘House’.
In the UK, he spent years playing the ‘dweeby’ character, and was never touted as a sexy guy.
Just goes to show what an acting role can do for one’s sex appeal!

I’m shocked at Hugh Laurie. Maybe I’ll watch House again (on a lonely night at home). I voted for Sting, but so would have voted for Clooney, or what about an old rocker like Mick Jagger or Steve Tyler.

Why is Hugh Laurie so cute? It doesn’t make sense. Yet I sit through his bitter attitude in House just to watch him walk around with that cane…

He plays a kinder gent in Sense and Sensibility…great movie!

I’m with Lynn on Hugh Laurie. He was wonderful and attractive in Black Adder, Fry and Laurie, Jeeves and Wooster…but then I have a thing for geeks.
