Poll: Which Gown Should Michelle Obama Rock To The Inauguration Ball?
Women’s Wear Daily commissioned dozens of designers to sketch gowns for Michelle Obama to wear to the Inauguration Ball on Jan. 20. Every designer is dying to dress this budding style icon, but some of the proposed gowns were downright fugly. So we culled our top 10 picks and decided to leave the decision to the people. This is a democracy, after all.

Okay, I know that she never would have worn the Betsy Johnson gown but how awesome would it have been if she did?
We need a first lady who can be classy and fierce, and I think Michelle Obama is the woman to do it.

I think No. 4, 5 and 7 are beautiful. The white would look great on her but she doesn’t wear heels. Perhaps something poofy is good to hide the footwear. Where is the Chicago designer that knows how to compliment her awkward body. The one that designed the green/mint colored dress?
Okay I like 9 and 1 too.
Jeepers! As long as she stays away from that hideous red with black a la sweater style/designer, she’ll be just fine.
