Poll: What Aspect Of Yourself Are You Most Confident In?
Personally, I feel pretty damn good about my talent for cooking marinara sauce, my thick hair, my work ethic, and my dog mothering abilities. And you?

I have no idea why, but I have never met a person who didn’t like me. Funny thing is, I’m a cynical bitch and I hate most people.

I feel like my personality and people skills are what I’m most confident in. I do just fine in a crowd where I don’t know anyone or where I definitely don’t fit in (like when I ended up being the only person under 40y.o. when I went out for wine with my boss and her friends last year).
This will sound weird, but I also do remarkably well dealing with vagrants/homeless folks/randoms/drunks on the street. Not that I go out of my way a lot to talk to total strangers or am out late at night a ton, but when approached in a way that would make a lot of people ignore and just walk away, I seem to have mastered the art of the 10 second conversation that doesn’t ignore or insult the other person. And you should SEE me bum cigs at the bar.
However, I have come a long way towards being proud (but hopefully not in an obnoxious way) about my brainz, work capabilities, and culinary prowess. My athletic abilities are crap compared to my climber friends who can do my projects in their sneakers, but I impress the average non-climber with my climbing abilities and I’m an occasional rockstar on my softball team.

i have always been confident in the fact that im easy to get along with and i make friends quite easily but recently i’ve actually noticed that im second guessing my own personality! i work as an operator and it’s my belief that because of my job i cant carry on a conversation anymore. Ex. me - “thank you for calling (insert dept store) this is alex”
customer - “hi can you transfer me to the brassiere department?”
me - “Of course. My pleasure.”
End call.
I never even have the opportunity to say anything other than, “my pleasure.” i say it in my sleep. perhaps i should get out more?

I chose personality/likability. Like iamsamkeller I haven’t met anyone who really didn’t like me, except for maybe the people *I* have made no secret of despising. I also think I am a generally really nice person. Good thing to be confident in, for sure!

I also chose personality/likability. I think it’s because I genuinely try to like others. I look for their positive qualities instead of their faults. I try to relate to them. I think the fact that I know inside that I’m really, honestly giving everyone I meet an opportunity to be my friend, this shows and boosts my confidence.
